Imported from Ireland. Crafted in Sterling silver and thickly coated in 14K Gold. Hallmarked 925. It was individually handcrafted by a silversmith in Ireland . (The Gold will never wear off as it is given a very thick coating) Our jeweler uses the thickest plating available. Dimensions: 7/8" in length (top to bottom, not including bail), 5/8" in width. Chain not included. The spiral, representing the Newgrange tomb in the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath. Older than Stonehenge and the pyramids of Egypt, this ancient burial ground was built about 5000 years ago. In this new age many people have adopted this symbol for its connection to the past. The spiral represents the continual energy flow from life to death.
